QUILT APPRAISALS -

As a service to you, Calla Lily's is presenting another Saturday for in store quilt appraisals by Minnesota's own Beverly Proulx of North Branch. Bev is an antique quilt collector, professional appraiser, speaker, pattern and fabric designer, and teacher. You can reserve a 1/2 hour time slot between 10am and 2pm on Saturday, March 27th, with a check made out to Bev for $40.00. Only one quilt per 1/2 hour session for written appraisal. A good time for gift appraisals.

WHY APPRAISE?

* To establish a replacement value for insurance purposes BEFORE a loss due to fire, flood, damage or robbery.

* To meet your insurance company's requirements for a "Fine Arts Rider" on your policy.

* To provide adequate insurance coverage while your quilt is at a textile competition or exhibit or is going to be shipped.

* To provide a written record for family regarding the value of quilted estate items.

* To provide appraisal information for a quilted gift.

* To determine a fair market value for the sale of the quilt.

* To determine a value for donation, gift, or estate purposes required by the IRS.
